Organizing Cards

I'm working on a file box system to organize the cards I need to send out each month for the entire year. I need something better than what I did this year (I forgot my own mothers B-day, yikes). My thinking is using cereal boxes cut out to make dividers, painting them and then putting 1-30 (or however many days are in that month) on there with lines. Then I can write in peoples birthdays and place their card in that section. Then all I have to do is check once a month or so and send out everyones cards, hopefully on time!
